The pintsizedpa company is owned and run by myself, Dave Milner, a musician and producer/engineer for over 20 years.
I studied recording and musicianship at Salford University (1986-88) and subsequently spent years drumming, singing, song-writing, recording and producing with various bands and musicians thereby increasing my knowledge base. I have done things as diverse as record the Manchester second runway inquiry to selling dance music recorded on a Playstation. I have produced my own CD on an 8 track cassette machine, which made it onto the CD of Future Music magazine back in 1996 and played, written and recorded as a member of The Fall for over 3 years(2001-04,a lifetime in The Fall!!).During this period I co-wrote/produced the critically acclaimed album Country on the Click(subsequently renamed The Real New Fall LP) and toured Europe and the USA extensively. As well as the PA business I teach drums and lecture in recording from high schools to colleges when not a peripheral member of a long suffering and patient family!!
My passion with the PA is to "live produce", i.e. listen to the performer and react in the moment. My goal is to help convey the information created by the artist/speaker as well as possible and to the clients specifications. My satisfaction is gained when the client is happy with the results.
